Our Story

Chronic Care of Richmond was founded with a singular mission: to provide healing and hope to those who have struggled with chronic pain and other health challenges. The journey that led to the founding of our clinic is one rooted in personal experience and a deep commitment to transformative patient care.

Dr. Snyder's personal battle with stroke and chronic pain ignited a passion to bring cutting-edge treatments to his community. He knew that if chronic pain therapy had been available to him years ago, his healing journey might have been very different. This drive to offer hope and healing to others led him and his wife, Jenneane, to establish Chronic Care of Richmond, where they focus on treating not just symptoms but the root causes of chronic pain and related conditions.

From Personal Struggle to Community Healing

Motivations Behind Our Clinic

In 2005, just three years into his practice, Dr. Snyder's life took an unexpected turn. While playing basketball, he suffered a serious fall that led to a stroke—a devastating event that changed everything. At just 31 years old, Dr. Snyder was left partially paralyzed and unable to communicate. But his story didn't end there. Through determination, research, and a relentless pursuit of healing, Dr. Snyder discovered the power of chiropractic neurology and chronic pain therapy. His recovery, which defied the expectations of many medical professionals, inspired him to completely transform his practice. Today, Chronic Care of Richmond stands as a testament to his journey, offering innovative therapies that have the potential to change lives.

We are dedicated to helping people who suffer from chronic pain and are passionate about caring for patients who, until now, have struggled to find effective treatments for their underlying health issues. Dr. Snyder and his medical team at Chronic Care of Richmond understand the frustration of inadequate medical care. It was through chronic pain treatment that Dr. Snyder was able to heal the damage caused by a stroke at the age of 31 and regain his life. Inspired by the power of chronic pain therapy, Dr. Snyder has made it his mission to bring this transformative therapy to the broader community.
