A beautiful, glowing complexion free of fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage and imperfections is possible with a microneedling facial. Chronic Care of Richmond offers this breakthrough aesthetic therapy with the FDA cleared Skinpen® microneedling device. This non-invasive procedure promotes the natural healing properties of the skin to encourage healthy, plump and glowing skin in the face, hands and body.
SkinPen® is the only device that has been cleared by the FDA for microneedling procedures. Shaped much like an actual pen, SkinPen® is a small, slender device with 14 stainless steel medical grade needles that can create up to 1,600 micro-injuries per second in the skin. These controlled micro-injuries create micro-channels in the dermis that encourage the production of new collagen and stimulate the skin's natural wound healing process. This natural healing process, once stimulated by the microneedling facial, can smooth over years of sun damage, wrinkles and other imperfections.
While a microneedling facial improves the overall appearance of the skin, it is especially beneficial for those with:
Within a few days of the procedure, the skin appears brighter, firmer and more even-toned. Three to five sessions are recommended for best results. Your Chronic Care of Richmond medical team will discuss with you the best options for your skin complexion. We are able to offer a comfortable experience and an affordable cost for those searching for "microneedling near me."

When you arrive for your microneedling facial appointment, your skin will be cleansed and dried. Next, a gentle numbing cream will be applied to your face to prepare for the microneedling therapy. After 15-20 minutes, the cream is removed and the procedure begins. The SkinPen® has adjustable needle depth, controlled speed and a sterile, single-use cartridge for optimal safety. As the device is passed over your skin, the needles penetrate at varying depths to create the necessary micro-channels. Patients may feel slight discomfort or pin-prick pressure during the microneedling facial. The entire procedure takes about 30 minutes and downtime is minimal. The face may appear red, similar to a mild sunburn, right after the procedure. Any discomfort will be minimal and patients can continue their normal daily activities.
At Chronic Care of Richmond, we always promise to bring our patients the latest in natural healing therapies. The microneedling with SkinPen® is a safe, effective therapy for healthy, beautiful skin. While fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage and other imperfections are a normal process of aging, a glowing and plump complexion is possible for everyone. The body's natural ability to heal the skin is stimulated by the microneedling facial and can reduce the appearance of these aging marks.
Microneedling is a natural, non-invasive procedure that can bring back the confidence you may be lacking. If you are interested in learning more about how a microneedling facial may benefit you or a loved one, please contact us today for more information.
Microneedling is a non-invasive facial procedure that encourages the body to start a natural healing process by creating thousands of tiny micro-injuries in the skin of the face. Results include reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, smoother skin complexion, and reduction of active acne breakouts.
No. A numbing cream is gently massaged into your face before the treatment. This minimizes any pain that could be felt during the procedure, allowing you to have a comfortable and relaxing experience.
The micro-injuries created by the microneedling facial immediately trigger your body's healing process. After the procedure, you will experience mild redness and inflammation, which is the first sign that the healing process has begun. After four to six weeks, you will see the first signs of a healthier complexion.
With multiple sessions and a healthy skincare routine, the results from microneedling can be long-lasting. While microneedling is a great procedure to reverse the signs of aged and damaged skin, it can also be used as a preventative skin treatment to maintain a healthy complexion.
Yes. At Chronic Care of Richmond & Regenerative Medicine, we use the safest microneedling device on the market, SkinPen®. This is an FDA-approved medical-grade device that has enhanced safety features. There is no chance of infection with this procedure and downtime is minimal. If you are searching for "microneedling near me," you can trust us for a safe and comfortable experience.
The number of sessions you need for best results will depend on a variety of factors, including your skin's complexion, skincare routine, and medical history. Microneedling can be safely repeated every four to six weeks.

Dr. Bryant Snyder is a leader in the field of non-drug, non-surgical chronic pain procedures. He has successfully managed thousands of patients suffering from chronic joint pain, peripheral neuropathy, and other chronic neurological and metabolic conditions.
Dr. Bryant Snyder graduated from Life University in Marietta, Georgia and has been in full-time practice since 2002. He regularly attends post-graduate educational seminars on topics such as regenerative medicine, functional neurology, functional medicine, spinal structure, and nutrition and also consults other doctors in his profession.
Dr. Snyder is a graduate of the American Functional Neurology Institute (AFNI). He is Board Certified in Integrative Medicine and is a diplomate in Whole Medical Systems from the American Association of Integrative Medicine.
Dr. Snyder and his wife of 20 years, Jenneane, have three beautiful children, Delaney, Chloe, and Crosby. They enjoy sports of all kinds as well as hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities.
Growing up Jenneane always got an “x” in that box on the report card for “Excessive talking”. Although her teachers may not have agreed at the time, that “x” that just reflected her love of people – being around them, talking to them, helping them. Her passion for people transitioned into a passion for little people as an elementary school teacher. She later moved on to work in a successful children’s franchise company in which she eventually became Vice President, where she helped people who wanted to bring enrichment education to children in their community. But everything changed when Bryant first learned about regenerative medicine and how it was helping people with chronic pain. He was in his 16th year of practice when they realized that by incorporating stem cells into the practice, they could not only help current patients, but they could also help the people in our community who are living with chronic pain and have lost hope. Those who have tried everything else and just want their life back! This was the only natural path for them to take. So, Jenneane quit her career, they both received an immense amount of training, they worked hard, and here they are – offering a safe, affordable, effective, non-invasive procedure for chronic pain to their community. When she is not working in or on their practice, she is with the people she is most passionate about – their three kiddos, Delaney, Chloe, and Crosby who keep them busy and happy. And, at the root of it all, everyone has the right to be happy. If you are living with chronic pain, you, too, can once again be truly happy! Jenneane is seeing the life-changing results in their patients and that, too, makes her happy.
