Sexual wellness can help you enjoy a more fulfilling, pleasurable sex life.
Erectile dysfunction is common, affecting one in five American men and more than 150 million men worldwide. The inability to achieve or maintain an erection greatly diminishes the satisfaction of one's sex life and is understandably a frustrating issue. Thankfully, advances in holistic medicine allow for safe, non-invasive therapies that can address erectile dysfunction and increase sexual wellness.
The Sexual Wellness Treatment is a holistic medicine therapy that uses platelet rich plasma, or PRP, to improve male sexual wellness. If you are searching for a sexual wellness center near you that offers this treatment, you have come to the right place. Chronic Care of Richmond is a leader in PRP and has used this sexual wellness therapy to help their patients achieve a firmer, longer-lasting erection and to improve their overall sexual enjoyment.
It is estimated that one in ten men have a symptom of sexual dysfunction, ranging from erectile dysfunction to low libido. Erectile dysfunction, or ED, is the most prevalent sexual disorder that men experience. Erectile Dysfunction is the inability to produce or maintain an erection firm enough to have sexual intercourse.
Other sexual disorders that men may suffer from include low sexual drive, loss of interest in sex or premature ejaculation. There are a variety of causes of male sexual dysfunction, including:
Don't let frustrations over erectile dysfunction ruin your life or relationship. With the PRP sexual wellness therapy, a healthy and happy sexual life is possible.
At Chronic Care of Richmond, we believe in the healing power of the body. Most cases of erectile dysfunction are caused by physical issues, including old age, diseases and lifestyle. The PRP Sexual Wellness Treatment is a viable solution to jump-start your sexual wellness healing journey. As practitioners of holistic medicine, we realize the importance of incorporating other aspects of healing into our therapies. Your nurse practitioner will discuss possible lifestyle changes that can enhance the results of the PRP sexual wellness therapy for you.
PRP for sexual dysfunction is a therapy that utilizes your body's natural healing capabilities to address complaints of sexual dysfunction like erectile dysfunction. Our therapy works by increasing blood flow to the genitalia, repairing responses in damaged tissue cells and establishing new neural pathways. Benefits of this therapy may include:
What is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)? Platelet rich plasma, or PRP, is a protein rich liquid derived from your blood. Blood contains three main components: red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. Considered healing cells, platelets contain hundreds of proteins called growth factors. These growth factors help to stimulate growth, facilitate healing in the body and restore blood flow.
When you arrive for your appointment, you will meet with our nurse practitioner for a general check-up and explanation of the procedure. During the procedure, blood is drawn and put through a centrifugation process that separates the platelets from the blood cells and increases their concentration. This creates a platelet rich serum (PRP) which is saturated with growth factors. The PRP is then injected into the penis. Patients typically notice results after 6-8 weeks of the first injection. Sometimes, additional injections may be necessary to achieve optimal results.
After the procedure, we recommend no sexual activity for the first 48 hours. This should be followed by stimulation two times a day for the next five days. Tylenol may be taken for any pain, but all NSAIDs should be avoided for up to two weeks after the procedure. Risks and side effects of this procedure are rare. If you notice redness, swelling or pain at the injection site, contact our office.
As chronic pain specialists, we provide proven alternative treatment options. Our goal is to help you avoid unnecessary surgery and medications.
Our procedures require no medication or recovery time. Most in-office procedures are 30 minutes or less.
Unlike medications that mask symptoms, we address the root of your issues, providing long term results and allowing your body to heal and, in some cases, regenerate.
The treatments we offer are non-invasive and safe and have little to no side effects.
Our mission is to provide our community with cutting-edge regenerative practices to address your chronic pain and promote healing.
Our staff is knowledgeable and caring. Through follow-ups after your procedures, we are with you through every step of your healing process.

Dr. Bryant Snyder is a leader in the field of non-drug, non-surgical chronic pain procedures. He has successfully managed thousands of patients suffering from chronic joint pain, peripheral neuropathy, and other chronic neurological and metabolic conditions.
Dr. Bryant Snyder graduated from Life University in Marietta, Georgia and has been in full-time practice since 2002. He regularly attends post-graduate educational seminars on topics such as regenerative medicine, functional neurology, functional medicine, spinal structure, and nutrition and also consults other doctors in his profession.
Dr. Snyder is a graduate of the American Functional Neurology Institute (AFNI). He is Board Certified in Integrative Medicine and is a diplomate in Whole Medical Systems from the American Association of Integrative Medicine.
Dr. Snyder and his wife of 20 years, Jenneane, have three beautiful children, Delaney, Chloe, and Crosby. They enjoy sports of all kinds as well as hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities.
Growing up Jenneane always got an “x” in that box on the report card for “Excessive talking”. Although her teachers may not have agreed at the time, that “x” that just reflected her love of people – being around them, talking to them, helping them. Her passion for people transitioned into a passion for little people as an elementary school teacher. She later moved on to work in a successful children’s franchise company in which she eventually became Vice President, where she helped people who wanted to bring enrichment education to children in their community. But everything changed when Bryant first learned about regenerative medicine and how it was helping people with chronic pain. He was in his 16th year of practice when they realized that by incorporating stem cells into the practice, they could not only help current patients, but they could also help the people in our community who are living with chronic pain and have lost hope. Those who have tried everything else and just want their life back! This was the only natural path for them to take. So, Jenneane quit her career, they both received an immense amount of training, they worked hard, and here they are – offering a safe, affordable, effective, non-invasive procedure for chronic pain to their community. When she is not working in or on their practice, she is with the people she is most passionate about – their three kiddos, Delaney, Chloe, and Crosby who keep them busy and happy. And, at the root of it all, everyone has the right to be happy. If you are living with chronic pain, you, too, can once again be truly happy! Jenneane is seeing the life-changing results in their patients and that, too, makes her happy.
